Professional Journalist Application

To be verified as a Professional Journalist we need at minimum three clips from reputable print publications or corresponding material from other media sources (radio, TV). Normally an online only portfolio will not qualify you for this badge (but may qualify you as a 'news writer'). Degrees in journalism are helpful but not mandatory, and do not automatically guarantee inclusion in the program. The more information you give us on this application, the faster we can determine whether or not you qualify. To apply you must be a Helium member and you must include your About Me page URL. Applicants without an About Me bio and photo will not be considered.
