As educators, we must first understand how to tap into our creative mind to inspire our young people to use their creative mind. This workshop will focus on understanding the process to spark creativity in ourselves and then design an environment where children can find their creative niche; writing, dancing, singing, drawing, photography, acting and many others. Participants will walk away with a clear understanding of how to develop a curriculum to meet the developmental needs of their children by using a creative process.

"New"
Support Students’ Academic Outcome through Project Based Learning
: Where do we even begin! First, participants will understand what are the “Department of Education Academic Standards”. From this base line, participants will learn how to develop strong objectives to keep the focus on building skills to support the child’s academic outcome. Through the project base learning process, participants will design a step-by-step curriculum that will have children experience learning in a fun, engaging and intentional process. The key is not to repeat the school day, but to spark the desire of learning for bringing the outside world into the classroom.
Covers OCFS topics 1 & 3.
"New" Building your Classroom Facilitation Skills
: Many times we keep doing things the same way and find that children are getting restless or impatient. Well, this workshop will build your resources on how to keep children focused and engaged. Participants will learn how to design a classroom environment that doesn’t feel like school is still in session. Participants will learn how to adjust their approach according to each individual child’s needs as well as to the energy of a large group. Come build your bag of tricks to keep your sanity and have kids engaged.
Covers OCFS topics 1 & 3.
