Kallah Submission Form

All submissions for Kallah MUST be received by noon (12:00 p.m.) the day before your presentation. Our theater uses a multimedia server to run Kallah presentations and all components (Power Point Presentations, YouTube videos, music, etc) must be reformatted to work in the system. Additionally, we need to make sure everything works and the tech booth is properly staffed for your presentation. For this reason, we cannot accept materials for Kallah right before assembly begins. This is to ensure your presentation runs as smoothly as possible.

Please plan ahead and have your materials ready as far in advance as possible. 

All materials for Kallah must be submitted using this system. Materials sent via e-mail will not be accepted.

* If your presentation includes a CD, DVD, VHS Video, Cassette Tape or other materials that cannot be transmitted electronically, please make sure those materials are put in the Performing Arts Mailbox (in the High School office) by noon on the day before your presentation.

NOTE ABOUT POWER POINT PRESENTATIONS

When presenting a Power Point presentation, you have two choices:

1. Present the presentation from your own laptop using a connection at the foot of the stage.

2. Have the Power Point controlled from the tech booth for you (you will have to cue the tech crew when to advance the slide by saying "Next" during your presentation).

For both options, please follow the instructions below:

Presenting Using Your Own Laptop

If you choose to present from your own laptop, please use the following guidelines/policies:

1. If you are using a Mac Laptop, you will need to provide a VGA adapter so you can connect in to the theater's system. 

2. You must arrive to the theater at least 10 minutes before Kallah begins so we can connect your laptop in to the theater's system and test the connection before the student body enters. If you do not arrive before Kallah starts, we will not be able to connect your laptop.

Presenting Using the Theater's Computer

If you choose this option, you will need to submit your presentation using the upload function below. BEFORE uploading, however, please make sure the following requirements have been met:

1. The Power Point presentation has been saved in ".ppt" format

2. Photos in the presentation must have been originally saved to your computer and then instered using the "Insert --> Picture" function.

3. No audio files have been embedded in the presentation. Please upload the files (.mp3 and .wav formats only) seperately and note where in the presentation they should be displayed.

4. No YouTube links have been embedded in the presentation. Please send the links seperately and note where in the presentation they should be displayed.

5. No movies have been embedded in the power point. Please upload the movie file/s (.wmv, .mpeg, .avi and .mov formats only) seperately and note where in the presentation they should be displayed.

6. Your Power Point cannot be larger than 10MB. Power Point presentations over 10MB are usually do to large format photos. If you cannot reduce the file size of your Power Point, please contact Mr. Harbour immediately to discuss alternate ways of sending in your presentation.
