Policies and Information

Seating

Daytime shows are not ticketed, therefore seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Your entire group must be present in order to be seated; we do NOT allow anyone to save seats for absent parties.

Allowed vs. Prohibited Items & Animals

Patrons may bring their own snacks and beverages as long as they are not in glass containers. Coolers must be placed on the sides of the theatre.

ALL bags and coolers will be checked by security at the gates.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited in the theatre and Hermann Park, including the hill, seated area, and plazas.

Pets on leashes are allowed in Hermann Park, but they are not allowed in the seated area of the theatre or on the hill.

Recording

No audio or visual reproduction of any portion of a presentation at Miller Outdoor Theatre is permitted without the express written consent of the City of Houston.

Inclement Weather

Shows will not be cancelled due to showers or thunderstorms. Only in instances of dangerous, inclement weather (such as a hurricane, tropical storm, or tornado warnings) will a performance be cancelled.
