News Briefs are 150-200 word mini press releases that announce what’s going on in our local community.

We welcome submissions from everyone, but priority is given to the advertisers that sponsor our magazine, nonprofit organizations and news that relates to our editorial topics. A limited number of news briefs are published each month.

Natural Awakenings wants to promote your business and provide important news to our community. Please provide information on this form for each specific news item, and our professional writers will create an effective News Brief from it, i.e., a grand opening, added staff or services, a special concert, event, class or anything that’s new in the next one to three months, so please send it in with enough time to be included in the correct issue—we work ahead.

Our readers are interested in knowing the concise basics of who, what, when, where, why and how they can participate in an event or find a needed product or service that you offer. There is also a category for congratulations on new certification, awards, anniversaries and such (we call them KUDOS).
