Hello! Here is the form to apply for specific heats of the British Comedian Of The Year 2023 competition. We have tried hard to be representative geographically where possible!
 
24 Heats: 9 Acts, Top 2 into Semi-Finals
6 Semi-Finals: 8 Acts, Winner automatically into Final, plus 2 or 3 'best runners-up'
Final: 8 Acts (possibly 9), Winner gets £10,001
 
Semi-Finals in Liverpool (Hot Water), London (various) & Midlands (various)

RULES
- British Comedian Of The Year (BCOTY) 2023 is open to all comedians, it's not just a new act competition.
- You will be competing for the grand prize of £10,001. There is only one prize, winner takes all!
- Acts will be selected from the entrants to compete in the heats which are decided by audience vote with adjudicators there to step in if someone has just brought lots of pals but clearly isn't in the top 2.
- Each act will perform a 10 minute set in the heats and semi-finals which will be judged by audience vote. 
- The final will consist of 8 acts, each doing 10 minute sets.
- Deadline for entry Fri 7 July, 5pm.
