Healthy Blue NE Scholarship Application

Healthy Blue NE and Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska are pleased that you are making your mental health and wellness a priority! With generous funds from Healthy Blue NE, any girls who want to attend camp can apply for a scholarship covering up to half of their camp registration fee.

Additionally, any Individual Girl Member (IGM) or troop working on a community service project, Take Action project, Bronze, Silver, or Gold Award promoting mental health and wellbeing can apply for a scholarship to cover up to half of their project costs, up to $250. The scholarships are available while funds last.

Eligibility Criteria

Girl Scout(s) have completed the Healthy Blue NE patch program.
Girl Scout(s) have participated in the most recent Girl Scout Cookie Program.
Girl Scout may only apply for one camp scholarship per calendar year.
Recipients of the Healthy Blue NE scholarship agree to share photos of their completed project or camp experience, which will be used in Healthy Blue NE and Girl Scout council promotions.
Recipients of project scholarships (not camp) must provide receipts of the fund spending.

Selection Process

Scholarship applications will be reviewed by a Spirit of Nebraska staff committee. Applicants will be notified of funding within 30 days of submitting the application.
