Applications to host the Washington State Poet Laureate Arianne True in 2024 are currently being reviewed and scheduled on a rolling basis.

NOTE: Arianne has been working hard to continue with events and responsibilities despite having Long Covid, but she has a severe case and recovery is difficult as there are still currently no approved treatments for this illness. After some time, she’s made the very difficult decision to take a leave of absence until Fall 2024. Reach out to linnea.ingalls@arts.wa.gov for questions.

All virtual Washington State Poet Laureate events must be free and open to the public, with the exception of:

Classroom events
Corrections center events
Writers' conferences and workshops
