The Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Jr Leadership Program is sponsored by the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce. The program, which began in 2000, is guided by a Board of Trustees and education advisors from the community.
 
The mission of the program is to effect positive change in the community by providing high school juniors opportunities to build leadership skills though service learning projects, seminars, workshops and interaction with local leaders and decision makers.

Qualifying Questions

I am currently enrolled as a student in a local school (public, private, charter or home school) and classified as a high school Junior. *
My current GPA is 2.5 or higher. *
I am aware of the program's class days, held during school hours, and agree to the attendance requirements. I am also aware this program runs from August through May 2024. *
I am aware, in order to graduate from the program, I must complete *Eight* Community Service Activities (CEA's) -- four at my school plus four in my community. *
I am aware, in order to graduate from the program, I must actively participate and contribute to the class project discussion and its successful completion. (Your class will determine what your class project will become) *
I am aware, there is a $200 program fee to be paid at the Orientation meeting upon acceptance into the Jr. Leadership program. (There are scholarships available) *
