Applications Submitted before January 2025 will incur an additional Charge of $68.17 for 2024 dues. If you do not want to pay for 2024 dues, you will need to wait until after January 1st to submit your application.

REALTOR^® MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

To the Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS^®, I hereby apply for REALTOR® Membership in the above named Board. In the event of my election, I agree to abide by the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS^®, which includes the duty to arbitrate, and the Constitution, Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the above named Board, the State Association and the National Association, and if required, I further agree to satisfactorily complete a reasonable and non-discriminatory written examination on such Code, Constitutions, Bylaws and Rules and Regulations. I understand membership brings certain privileges and obligations that require compliance. Membership is final only upon approval by the Board of Directors and may be revoked should completion of requirements, such as orientation, not be completed within timeframe established in the association’s bylaws. I understand that I will be required to complete periodic Code of Ethics training as specified in the association’s bylaws as a continued condition of membership. For New REALTOR Members and New Brokers/Company, there is a one-time Application Fee of $50 or a $50 Reinstatement Fee or Transferring Fee.

NOTE: Applicant acknowledges that if accepted as a member and he/she subsequently resigns from the Board or otherwise causes membership to terminate with an ethics complaint pending, the Board of Directors may condition renewal of membership upon applicant’s certification that he/she will submit to the pending ethics proceeding and will abide by the decision of the hearing panel. If applicant resigns or otherwise causes membership to terminate, the duty to submit to arbitration continues in effect even after membership lapses or is terminated, provided the dispute arose while applicant was a REALTOR®.

All REALTOR® Members are required to complete a REALTOR® Code of Ethics course during the three year period that ends December 31, 2024. New members must take Orientation/Code of Ethics within 90 days of joining the Board. Failure to complete the course by that date will result in suspension until course completion, regardless of the status of dues payment. Suspension of services includes all board, state association and NAR dues-based services. Classes are held at the Association Office; Registration begins at 8:30 with a light breakfast and an opportunity to network with Affiliate sponsors. Class starts 9:00A.M. - 3:15 P.M. There will be 3 HoursContinuing Education Credit. RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. The $30 is non-transferrable if you fail to cancel prior to the class date. Lunch is also included and business attire is required. Name plates and/or clothing with company logo's are not allowed in the classroom. All cell phones must be turned off as you will be assessed a $25 fine if your cell phone goes off in class and a $50 fine if you answer the phone.

If you need to take Orientation, you may register online at www.namar.org. You may register online once you have received your username and password. The cost is $30 and you will receive 3 CE Credits. Visit www.namar.org for a schedule of classes.
