HELP BRIGHTEN THE HOLIDAYS FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES

This year, United Way of Miami-Dade invites you to join our holiday gift drive! For many of the children and families that we serve, the holidays can be the most stressful time of the year. With roughly 37 percent of all Miami-Dade households as ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed), and another 17 percent as living in poverty, our neighbors may not be able to prioritize gifts for their loved ones – and that’s where you step in.

Together with the United Way Center for Excellence in Early Education and Early Head-Start Child Care Partnership (EHS-CCP) grant, we work with 20 education centers and family child care homes to address the needs of the whole family. Our United Way Impact Partners offer quality early care and education, out-of-school, and after-school opportunities for students of all ages. By participating in United Way’s holiday gift drive opportunity, you will be supporting those children and their siblings who are served by United Way. Last year, generous groups and individuals like you helped collect and distribute holiday cheer to hundreds of families! With your contribution, we are hoping to achieve even more holiday smiles this year.
