MLK Day of service | Letters to older adults

In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. day and his legacy of service United Way of Miami-Dade invites you to write a letter to a local other adult in our community. Write a letter of cheer, reassurance, resilience or other that represents your best wishes for older adults in our community.

Simply type your message below (in English or Spanish). There’s an option to upload a photo or artwork. We’ll download all for delivery to an older adult who is isolated at home.

Note: Community service letters are available upon request. Four letters equate to one hour of service. Any additional submissions are welcomed and we will credit volunteers for such. We ask that the letters have a minimum of 150 word count each and that each submission is unique. Maximum three service hours.
